The Path towards more Powerful
Formative Forces in Music
With his understanding, the listener cognizes the “horizontal” systems of order of music.
And with his feeling he grasps the “vertical” musical relations of power.

Therefore, the qualities of feeling and understanding are effective on all levels of music: in the world of the sound-space, in the world of the motif, in the world of the sequence, and in the world of the harmony.

And the art of portraying the cosmic reality of life lies particularly in radiating this life, this lively multiplicity, even into the physical-acoustic space and to enliven it so that the listener comprehends life itself as his own threefold human-cosmic food of knowledge:
- as a soothing, warming strengthening of   his feeling,
- as a refreshing, cooling clarification of his   understanding, and
- as the fulfilling realization of his own inner   universal nature, of his inner cosmic   power and inner beauty, through the   lively, mutual permeation of the qualities   of his feeling and understanding.

At a conventional university
nowadays the endeavor
for “knowledge” and “truth”
runs out already within
the first three states of consciousness:

That is the reason why
(so far) the gate to
the states of consciousness four to nine,
and therefore also
to the tenth state of consciousness:
to that field of creativity and/or
intuition in general
is closed
for the professors of the
conventional university
as accordingly for their students, too.

And as all of them
lack the authentic experiences
of creativity and/or intuition
connected to the
tenth state of consciousness,
therefore also the higher knowledge gained
on this specific higher level of
creative cognition
is personally totally alien to them all –
also in the area of
PHILOSOPHY.

And even when
the conventional universities
refer to the statements
of the great thinkers, philosophers,
scientists, artists and prophets,
and, like thieves or blind believers,
make their knowledge and their wisdom,
in the limited context of the
first three states of consciousness,
the subjects of their teachings
and their studies,
nevertheless the
higher intuitive states of consciousness
obtained by the wise and
demanded by them,
as well as the higher levels of
creative knowledge
connected to these states of consciousness,
are personally completely alien
to the university professors and students:

Because they all
are not able to take
the natural higher
views of creative cognition
of the great thinkers, philosophers,
scientists, artists and prophets
and therefore
lack
those authentic creative experiences
on the higher levels of
consciousness of intuition –
of which the wise report:
also in the field of
PHILOSOPHY.

The Goddess of Fate of the Motif
Even if the listener recognizes the motif and its destiny, the cosmic-social nature of the sequence, which in a motherly way guides the motif, is more difficult to perceive.

But when he directs his attention from the motif to the cosmic world of the sequence, the motif appears to him in the form of the melody by expressing, one after the other, the features of related traits of character.

In classical music, it was never the purpose of the melody to flatly lull someone, or to inebriate him, but it was meant to lead the listener, by way of its inner unfoldment, directly to the cognition of more compre- hensive cosmic human values – thereby to greater personal inner purity, to greater personal inner universal beauty, to greater personal inner cosmic power.

Owing to the impulse of the universal creative power within the melody, the inner-human cosmic qualities rush outwards into the world of the sound-space, and bring about the changing musical picture of the acting traits of character of individuals, of human beings, of the world.

Sequence-Technique
The cosmic rules according to which the sequence, by virtue of the cosmic social laws, guides the motif on its individual cosmic life-path in the melody are called the “sequence-technique.”

The Musical Formative Will in the Social Field of Music
The mastery over the applied sequence-technique consists of the art of creative merging the motifs with the harmony.

Thus, the applied sequence-technique represents a more comprehensive cosmic formative will than the applied motif-technique because it acts in a superior dimension of a musical order, in the world of the sequence, where the individual motifs are held together on the level of the social structure of the music.

The Dimension of the Musical Motif
The musical motif expresses a trait of the human character.

The change of the motif during the process of the musical event displays the free play of that quality in the manifold field of cosmic human characteristics; or, the change of the motif describes the way of cosmic liberation of a trait of the human character from the world of earthly limitations.

Diversity of the Worlds of Musical Motifs
However, the categories of the masculine and the feminine motif are only a part of the world of motifs and do not even represent its highest values.

Just as there are principles superior to the masculine and the feminine element, there are also musical motifs which stand above the masculine and the feminine musical motif.

In different times – in different cultural eras and on different levels of cultural evolution – the music creators emphasize the musical motifs which they consider to be the most meaningful for their respective time.
